WE ARE STILL DOING THE DUKE OF KENT CANTEEN THIS SATURDAY!
Help is still wanted this Saturday: The club will again be operating the mini-roos canteen at the Duke of Kent (17th AUGUST) Last canteen Saturday. Simply drop in for thirty minutes before or after your child’s game. NO NEED TO BOOK IN JUST TURN UP! Many thanks for all those who helped last week. We are also looking for some people to sell about six raffle books at the ground this Saturday! Please help out if you can?
RAFFLE TICKETS WERE GIVEN OUT TO ALL JUNIOR TEAMS LAST WEEK! These books need to be returned to the coach, dropped in at the Duke canteen or contact Maurie so I can pick them up 04322018. This is an important junior fundraiser to help with presentation cost. It’s a small number (20) per competition team about one per team family MEMBER. They should be able to be sold at the Saturday match. Please appoint a team member to organise raffle sales as the coaches have enough to do already!
PRESENTATION AWARDS: We are calling for names for the following annual club awards; Junior club person, Senior club person, Club person of the year and the Stephanie Scott Memorial Award. All information/criteria/forms are on the website. Nominations close at the end of this month. All playing awards are selected by the relevant coaches.
The RULES CLUB has again given the club very generous sponsorship for this season. Their generous donation will be used by the committee to provide valued services to our members and help reduce the overall cost of registration. Please support our sponsors whenever possible (All sponsors are appearing on our home page continually).
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
- The easiest and best way is to become a member or keep renewing your present membership. Current membership is only $5.50 pa and the facilities are excellent. Just remember to let them know you are from the Tolland Football Club when you join up or renew your membership.
- Definitely try to get to our functions at the club and use their great facilities whenever possible. Also consider their facilities if you are organising a function or you know people looking for a place to stay in Wagga.
